Bring non-perishable canned goods to help stock the Food Pantry. All clubbers will receive 2 AWANA bucks for each can that they bring.
Meets on Tuesday nights. The evening starts at 6:25 pm and ends at 8:10 pm. Most of our club nights have a special theme which is noted on our monthly newsletter.
AWANA is an international, nondenominational Bible-centered youth organization. Here at New Hope our program consists of 4 different age level of clubs. The Cubbies are for 3 year olds to kindergarten. The Sparky club consists of kindergarteners, first and second graders. Truth & Training (T & T) are our third through sixth graders and Trek are seventh and eighth graders.
Our mission statement for AWANA is, "To reach children and adults with the gospel of Christ and to train them to serve Him." The AWANA program provides opportunity for each child to grow in his or her relationship with God through a variety of activities. AWANA balances learning more about God through Bible study and Scripture memorization with fun and exciting physical, age based games.
However, all of this cannot be done without parent help. We do ask for volunteer help at least once a month. We can use help from as little as the first half hour of the night or more if your schedule allows for it. This program is very rewarding for your children and for you as a parent.
